Founded by Darren, Alpha One Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC has come a long way from its beginnings in Charlotte, NC. When Darren first started out, his passion for integrity and high quality workmanship drove him to become highly educated and reflect moral values so that Alpha One Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC can offer you honest quality provided by highly educated and skilled technicians without concern. We now serve customers all over the Greater Charlotte area and are thrilled to be able to turn his passion into an amazing business.

Darren is an Iraq War Veteran thriving in helping people. Never has he turned down a chance to make someone happy. Breaking into the HVAC industry many years ago, Darren found out that it was no easy task. He knew he had the drive, the mechanical ability, and the talent. What he didn't know was how competitive it would be. He has the natural ambition to be at the top of everything he does. This resulted in him surpassing comrades in the industry and standing out in the crowd. While learning how the industry conducted itself, Darren found that the moral compass amongst top companies was skewed a great deal. That is when Darren decided to branch out on his own and create a company based off of key moral values: Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, and Selfless Service. He is proud to serve all those in need with the highest of quality.

We hope you enjoy our services as much as we enjoy offering them to you. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us.

  • Why should I perform apreventative maintance?

The extreme swings between bitter cold and heat and humidity in Charlotte can stress your heating and air conditioning equipment. The home heating and air conditioning system is among the biggest expenses faced by a homeowner, and it’s essential to protect that investment through preventive maintenance.

Preventive maintenance on your heating and air conditioning system will not only ensure that the equipment is operating at maximum efficiency but it will also help extend the life of that equipment. Government research shows that regular preventative maintenance of your heating and air conditioning system will save you money in the long run due to reduced energy costs. The high-efficiency air conditioners on the market now can cut electric bills significantly but only if they are properly maintained.

When a qualified and trained technician comes to your home to perform the preventative maintenance, they will do several things:

    Verify proper refrigerant charge

Clean condenser coils to ensure proper airflow

    Inspect gas connections for leaks

    Tighten all electrical connections

    Lubricate all moving parts

Test the thermostat to make sure it’s cycling the system on and off properly

    Check air filter

    and more

Most manufacturers of heating and air conditioning equipment require annual preventive maintenance on their equipment to maintain the warranty. Keep your system in top shape by treating it to a biannual inspection.
